# 8 USEFUL TIPS FOR YOUR TRIP TO SARDINIA

✔ Choose the right camper  The first thing is certainly to choose a camper that allows you to be agile in maneuvers, that is not too bulky and flashy, so as not to attract attention and also be able to stop in less visible areas.

✔ Make a good supply of water especially if you decide to go a long way from inhabited centers, fill the tanks, make a good supply of bottled water and keep an eye on the available apps for possible sources of supply.

✔ Use the right apps CaraMaps, Park4Night, Camper Contact, Ari App, they are certainly the most useful, they will help you find the right places, the best spots for parking, recommended and reviewed by other campers.

✔ Avoid the high season If possible, plan your holiday in Sardinia in the less crowded months. In the height of summer you wouldn't be the only one wanting to sleep in front of that beautiful bay and you could probably find yourself stopping in the midst of many campers. If you're booking in August, opt for a trip inland or look for lesser-known and less popular beaches and coasts.

✔ Join other campers The best way to spend a night in complete safety is to stay with other campers friends.

✔ Reach the parking area in the early afternoon Try to plan your stop in advance by making sure you arrive early in the afternoon. Most people will be at the seaside or on an excursion and you will have access to the best place. Furthermore, placing your motorhome in the dark is much more complicated

✔ Check the weather forecast Always check the weather forecast at specialist sites. If you have chosen an agile and not too slow camper you can move around chasing good weather. We suggest windfinder for the winds and Lamma network (app) which will be very useful for you to evaluate where to move. If it rains, avoid the woods and carefully evaluate the terrain on which you stop because the mud could become a serious problem. Avoid parking too close to waterways, which could suddenly swell.

✔ Do not leave objects outside the camper Before locking yourself in the camper to sleep, take everything you have used to safety.
